- 2002 Humane Society International (HSI) and Rural Area Vets Society (RAVS) vets Equine clinic with 2 vets, when about 850 equines were attended to and their owners guided with animal well being.
- HSI and RAVS Equine clinic again when about the same number of animals were attended to, with 2 vets and 6 students.
- HSI and RAVS Equine clinic again even a more successful clinic with 2 vets and 8 students.

- A visit from Dr Barry Harrison from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada, who offered a clinic to 20 students & Vets on how to suture (a new technique to the Peruvians) through a mini spay clinic.
- Regular "campanas" (outreach to the poorer areas) in Piura, Paita and other villages, dogs have been dewormed and cured of mange.
- Approximately 100 dogs spayed and neutered/ year, as compared to previous years where due to many factors, 20 dogs were spayed and neutered per year.
- A group of humble but willing & caring volunteers, living in different villages and towns all within the area of Colan where I live. We also have 2 prominent vets in our group, and a Piura Municipality member.
- Six Vets assisting us on a volunteer basis.
- Development of a strong relationship between the universitie s and ourselves, so their students have increased opportunity for ‘hands-on”/ clinical learning.
- The acquisition of land to extend the Centre 1700 square metres and the donation of land donated (32 metres x 30 metres) for extension of the centre to be used as disaster rescue work, kennels to take in paying dog customers, accommodate volunteers and educational centre.
